Oh what a cute puppy you have. Hmmm, is that a human finger in it's teeth. Oh my. Anyways, Mistress Violet Strychnine here with another scary slap in the face. Werewolves, can't live with them can't live without them. Am I right ladies, or am I right? I always leave a heaping bowl of puppy chow on my back porch mixed with a little bit of crushed femur for texture. Sure, my neighbors look at me strangely and I suppose I could stare back considering most of them only have one leg but I choose to rise above that sort of behavior. Speaking of puppies, today's film is the 2002 film Dog Soldiers. It's directed by the very talented Englishman Neil Marshall. Dog Soldiers is basically Little Red Riding Hood made as a war film. Soldiers with big guns (they are not as the title suggests, dogs. Although that would have been a different film entirely) find a house in the middle of the woods and take refuge. Little do they know that there's werewolves roaming these parts of the forest. Lots of furriness, sharp teeth, and gun a blazing! Break open a box of milk bones and get ready for the walk of your life. Hmmm, I suppose it's time to give my Hell Hounds a walk. They get cranky without their daily hunt. 26 days left my decrepit beasts. xoxo
